GBC-Volta Star Radio’s Seraphine Nyuiemedi has won the Best female radio newscaster of the year 2022, in the Volta region at the 3rd edition of the Volta Media Excellence awards (VMEA) held in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital.

Some media practitioners in the Volta and Oti regions were awarded for their dedication, hard work, and commitment in the media space over the years.

The event also honored the best mid-morning show host, emerging journalist, and drive show host among others.

Speaking after receiving her award, miss Nyuiemedi expressed her gratitude for emerging the winner and dedicated the award to her friends, listeners, colleagues, and all those who believe in her.

“It is indeed a great honor, and I want to thank each and everyone, my friends, my colleagues at work and of course, my cherish listeners for the support. Thank you”.

Seraphine Nyuiemedi recently won the first African awards female radio newscaster category.
